Stand for Adoro

For their debut at BAU 2025, Adoro’s new door collection needed a stand that could turn a trade fair floor into an event of its own. Portals answers with a circular sequence of white door-shaped frames that pulls visitors toward its center before they’ve decided to walk in.

Overview
Portals is the spatial concept designed for the first presentation of Adoro’s new door range at BAU, Munich’s international building trade fair. A sequence of white square portals, arranged in a circle, frames the doors and turns the stand into a monumental, walk-through structure.
Brief
Adoro needed a launch presentation strong enough to introduce an entirely new door range on a crowded fair floor, without leaning on a conventional booth format.
Approach
The circular arrangement of portals does two things at once: it gives the stand a striking silhouette from a distance, and it generates a centripetal pull that draws visitors toward the center as they move through it. Beyond the ring of portals, three enclosed spaces double as storage and as showcases for individual door models, each fitted with a three dimensional intervention that echoes the design language of the door it displays.
