Overview
Estuary is entrance door for Adoro that treats glass as continuous, full-height element, layered to create depth and dynamic play of reflections. Design reads as calm vertical plane that gently opens in one area, revealing another uninterrupted glass surface beneath.

Brief
Adoro needed statement door where glass and light take lead, while still delivering everyday robustness and ease of use. Brief called for lightweight construction, discreet integrated handle, and options to tailor visual character through material and lighting choices.

Approach
Glass runs from top to bottom in multiple layers, with upper layer opening in curved shape to reveal lower glass layer flowing continuously without visible outer frames. This composition gives impression of clear, uninterrupted surface beneath protective outer skin. Handle is subtly integrated into upper layer, preserving purity of geometry while ensuring intuitive operation. Outer layer can be crafted from aluminum, glass, or ceramic, allowing different material expressions, and LED lighting can be embedded within glass to trace edges and emphasize layered depth at night.
