Overview
The Bloom collection for Milla&Milli is furniture family celebrating nature through layered, petal-like forms and rich, dark material palette. Bloom reads as flower emerging from ground: fluid and expressive, yet calm enough to anchor a space.

Brief
Milla&Milli wanted collection showcasing their solid-wood craftsmanship while delivering strong, nature-inspired identity. The brief aimed for furniture that feels sculptural and emotive, but still highly functional and suitable for refined residential and hospitality interiors.

Approach
Bloom’s defining gesture is “petals” in solid walnut, carefully arranged so annual growth lines flow elegantly across curved surfaces. These petals wrap around dark metal interior, creating contrast between warm wood tones and deep black core. Layered geometry and curved lines give the collection characteristic sense of movement, while controlled color palette keeps it coherent and sophisticated. Bespoke sliding-door mechanism was developed for Bloom sideboard, allowing wooden petals to glide open smoothly and reveal interior without breaking continuous exterior surface.
